Your family. Your information.

Accounts and calendars
We store your email, password hash, membership, calendar profile, events, invitations, and payment status to provide the service. Family events are available to family members and connected home displays. Private events are available only to their owner in the application. Site administrators operate the underlying systems; “private” does not mean end-to-end encrypted.
Location is a separate choice
Weather location preferences stay in your browser. Family GPS sharing is separate: you must sign in, explicitly consent, and grant browser location access. You select a sharing period of one hour, one day, seven days, 30 days, or 90 days. Leaving or closing the page pauses updates without canceling that permission. Updates resume when you return to the location page while signed in. Signing out cancels sharing. All signed-in family members can view your latest shared location, including anyone who joins during the session. Only the latest position is stored; we do not build a route history. Positions older than five minutes are hidden. Stopping sharing, signing out, or removal from the family deletes your saved position. Stale coordinates are periodically cleared while your consent period is retained; expired consent records are deleted. Backups may retain earlier data for their retention period.
Connected services
PayPal processes payment and sends verified payment status. We do not store card details. The public weather dashboard sends city searches and coordinates to Open-Meteo. Google Fonts may receive ordinary connection details. Embedded maps request map tiles from OpenStreetMap, revealing your IP address and the area being viewed. Family names and pin coordinates are rendered locally in your browser, not sent as marker data. Opening an external map link shares its coordinates with OpenStreetMap.
Storage and access
Session cookies keep you signed in. Browser storage remembers preferences. Do not connect a home display in a public place: anyone near it can see shared events. Its private connection link grants read-only access until it expires or is revoked.
Your choices
You can stop GPS sharing, edit or delete events, export your calendar, and leave a family. Leaving removes your events and location from that family. A sole family administrator must first appoint another administrator. To request account deletion or data help, contact weldon@weldonpc.com.
